Is it too early to start requesting bumper stickers and/or lawn signs or campaign signs from candidates? Has anyone received any? How do you get them? I have contacted via email some candidate websites but received no response. Thanks!

I received some emails last week from the Obama campaign and received some from the McCain campaign recently. But I didn’t sign up for anything on either site. I was just wondering who else got any emails from them. And how do they get your email address?
They were just talking about getting out to vote and get campaign buttons and mugs and things.
But I knew where to put the McCain emails (in the trash), so I was just wondering who else got any.

I’m running a political campaign and will be sending out a press release to all the local media contacts tomorrow. How do I get them to notice it? I’m sure they get a lot of press releases and ignore most of them. Should I paste the text of it into the email and also attach it as an attachment? If it’s a mass email how do I address it — “Dear Member of the Press”?
