Why cant members of congress vote by email, phone or proxy?
I can understand why the congressional rules were written way back in the day, but times have changed. Shouldn’t a member of congress who is on the road campaigning be able to vote from a distance?
The votes are a matter of public record, it would be obvious if someone had hacked the voting.
So J K you’ve never had a conference call?
hindlegs, it can be as simple as the pol going on TV and saying “I didn’t vote that way.” It’s not a secret ballot like electoral voting.
