What are some good phrases to use for soliciting charitable donations?

I need to send out an email to drum up participation in my office giving tree campaign. What are some good phrases to use for that?

  1. Joe K Says:

Give today- After all, you will still have a job tomorrow.

  2. RR Says:

People are more likely to give if they understand how that money’s going to be used, and the results they can expect.
Let them know the charity’s full name and address, and whether their contribution would be tax deductible. You should also identify your relationship with the organization (volunteer or paid solicitor). Remember to give thanks for each contribution.Be prepared to answer questions.
***Use the key phrase “Donors like you” and “Donations like yours”: “Because of donors like you I have been blessed to receive a wonderful education.”

    Good Luck!
