A friend of mine created a flier in photoshop and we are trying to figure out how to create an email campaign out of it. The flier has two links ~ I made it into an html file, moved it to dreamweaver, then used an image map to create the two spots on it that are links. We also created two forms the links lead to, and uploaded them via ftp onto the current company website.
I have researched many different ways but have had no success in just inserting this html into a body of an email to be sent out to people. When I finally got somewhere with Mozilla Thunderbird, the graphic did not show up.
any help would be appreciated!!!
Thank you for your advice. This is not the company I work for however. The flier is an invitation to join a luncheon to a group of suscribers so it actually isn’t “sleazy” at all…

I own a small business. I need to reach people in research labs. What is the best method. Should I go with email campaign, magazine marketing and if so (should that be a general magazine or a scientific one), or what other types of marketing would you suggest. Please let me know you experience with marketing and I am open to all suggestions that don’t cost a lot. Also, the people that I am marketing are all over the US and are mainly in large universities

From Alaska Daily News:
“[Governor] Palin routinely uses a private Yahoo e-mail account to conduct state business. Others in the governor’s office sometimes use personal e-mail accounts too.”
Even before the McCain campaign plucked Palin from Alaska, a controversy was brewing over e-mails in the governor’s office. Was the administration trying to get around the public records law through broad exemptions or private e-mail accounts? Activists, still fighting to obtain hundreds of e-mails that were withheld from public records requests earlier this year, say that’s what it looks like.â€

Gov. Sarah Palin is using flimsy grounds for withholding potentially embarrassing e-mails from a political supporter-turned-critic.
Former Republican candidate Andree McLeod has appealed the governor’s decision to withhold or redact some e-mails and other state records. She’s seeking the records in a dispute about the Palin administration’s recruiting and hiring decisions.â€

What do you think: Is it okay for state officials to use private email accounts to conduct state business?

1 of the things we’ve been doing for quite some time is writing directly to CBS to say “I’m a loyal Moonlight viewer but I don’t count in the Nielsen ratings you use.” Letting them know how often we watch the show on tv, online, DVR, Amazon, TIVO, iTunes. International Moonlight fans have really taken to this campaign, since their viewing definitely does not effect the Nielsen ratings. Write a quick email saying that you are from Canada, France, Brazil, Ireland, Australia, England, Italy, the Middle East, etc along with your viewing stats.Be heard as a Moonlight viewer!CBS contact info…

The person indicted for the hacking into the email accounts of Palin is the son of a Democrat State Representative, Tennessee. Representative Kernell.
They sent out pictures of the family of Palin , telephone numbers and many other personal things. They changed her password and then gave the new password on the internet to others to invade Palin’s account,
How low can this election campaign get? What has Obama got to say about Democats doing such things to get him elected.
When you try to destroy a candidates family and children nothing is safe.
God Save America
A number of the comments seem to indicate a sensitive point is being addressed.
Anyone, Republican or Democrat who violates the law should be punished. For a Democrat elected official to use the child to commit the crime may say even more.

From a visitor to The Corner at the National Review Online:
So I went to the Obama website this afternoon and clicked on the “Donate” button.
I used my real MasterCard number (but was not asked for the 3 digit security code).
Used the following information and it was accepted…
First name: Fake
Last Name: Donor
Address: 1 Dollar To Prove A Point
City: Fraudulent
State: AL
Zip / Post: 33333
Email Address: allmyinfoismadeup@mediabias.com
Phone Number: 2125551212
Employer: Mainstream Media
Occupation: Being in the Tank
And incredibly, my $5 donation was ACCEPTED!!!
I then went to the McCain site and used the exact same information (and WAS asked for the 3 digit security code for my MasterCard). There, my contribution was rejected with the following message: “Your transaction was not approved for the following reason(s): Invalid data”, and then: “We have found errors in the information that you have submitted. Please review the information below and try again.”
I have screen shots and printouts of all of this as well.
Please tell me what I can do with this information? Is this a violation of FEC law by the Obama Campaign? How do we publicize this???

Clinton loaned her campaign $5 million late last month to remain competitive financially with Obama.
Said communications director Howard Wolfson in an email to NBC News: “Late last month Senator Clinton loaned her campaign $5 million. The loan illustrates Sen. Clinton’s commitment to this effort and to ensuring that our campaign has the resources it needs to compete and win across this nation. We have had one of our best fundraising efforts ever on the Web today and our Super Tuesday victories will only help in bringing more support for her candidacy.”

There is a big negative micro-targeted ad campaign coming - snowmobile owners, bible readers, hunters - can you be fooled that easy?
