What does the Obama campaign’s fundraising money go to?

Forgive me if I’m using the wrong terminology, I don’t know much about politics. Michelle Obama sent out an email asking for more money. The campaign is over…what is this fundraiser for? There were no specifics, the email just talked about inauguration.

Thanks in advance.

Most likely to fund his 10 inauguration balls. Private fundraising pays for most activities, such as the inaugural balls. Taxpayers foot the bill for security and the actual ceremony. Federal budget officials said the inauguration will cost taxpayers about $50 million. Whether you think that is too lavish or not for facing the most severe economic collapse since the GD, is up to the reader.

I wouldn’t send them a penny. They will bleed America dry soon enough. I just hope and pray, Obama isn’t around long enough, to do any real damage.

Where do all fundraising money for both parties go to? Their own party funds (DNC and RNC) and their own personal political funds. So stop the b**ching!
