6th Grader Needs help with a speech for Student Council Treasurer?
I really need help with this. I am “Chester Cheeto”
I really need a fun speech. I can’t use objects in my speech, so I need some really good ideas. If anyone can help alot with this, u can jsut email me. I need to win this. I already have all of my ideas for campaigning, and usually, I bore the listeners with my speech. I just need a speech that kids can actually understand and will enjoy

Hi Cajun girl. Use your ’speech’ to teach the kids something important about money! This will also show them that YOU know something about money, thus, you would make a good treasurer.
Try this: Ask them which would they rather have? 1) a penny doubled every day for a month (31 days), or 2) one million dollars?
This is a classic question that teaches the value of compound interest - as money grows, it makes more and more money!
So, which would YOU rather have? A penny doubled every day for 31 days? Or, a million dollars?
Do the math to find the answer! The answer will surpise you (and your fellow students) and it will be a very entertaining and enlightening speech!
