How can I make it up to everyone, bad prank gone wrong?

Okay.

This is really bad. So my friend and I were up late (like 2:30 am), and we couldn’t figure out what to do, and we had another problem with a “group”, that was CONTINOUSLY gossip, about stupid stuff.

so the plan was that we would make a fake AIM conversation (between one another), and then send it to a friend of mine. Just fake random stupid crap about him being in a 18+ room and stuff. And him doing stupid things, and how I heard it from someone else.

So my friend sent the log to my other friend after we were finished. I was SUPPOSED to be there to tell them two seconds after the guy read it that it was a joke, but I passed out.

When I woke up, I was hacked, and there was an email campaign, and a whole bunch of other —-.

Then I got a message and it woke me up, and they were FREAKING out, and like 100’s of IM’s from EVERYONE…

I told the guy IMMEDIATELY that it wasn’t real, and it wasn’t supposed to hurt anyone, and to stop freaking out. But they took it really seriously, and now nobody will talk to me.

I apologized, I don’t know what else to do, but I know that this is something that will break the trust thing forever. All because of one stupid prank.

It was in good intentions, and innocent, but.. I dunno what else to do..

That *****! That’s why it’s not good to prank sometimes. You should apologize one more time to everyone, if they don’t want to talk to you, write letters. Letters work most of the time. Then, give them their space until they’re ready to talk to you. If not, move on and make more friends and learn from your past mistakes!

Just hang in there, keep trying to make up for this blunder.
Remember it takes a thousand “atta boys” to make up for one “oops”

firstly, its not nice to prank someone.
why dont you tell everyone that it was supposed to be a joke but it turned out wrong?
tell them that you were gonna tell the person you spammed it to that it was a joke, but you passed out.
and if they dont believe you, then give it some time. say your sorry to everyone who got hurt, and maybe they’ll forgive you someday.

That totally ***** when a prank backfires!! There’s not much more you can do but keep apologizing for your mistake. There’s an old saying actually it’s Murphy’s Law “Whatever can go wrong, Will go wrong”. Just learn from your mistakes and if verbally apologizing doesn’t work…..like was said already write and apologize that way and when they’re ready to listen to you and talk apologize again.

    Hope it works!!
