How can I open a powerpoint file from an email?

make sure that you have the most upgraded version of PowerPoint. usually it is not a problem to open a file from a lower version of power point to a higher one. it is a problem though when you open a power point from a higher version to a lower.
also if you are using firefox, try using internet explorer or something else to make sure it is not from your web browser.

Emailing PowerPoint is something troublesome since it is too big yet not stable.
So try some other methods - you can upload your PPT files on the popular slide sharing site SlideShare.net. Or convert it to video using a conversion tool and put the converted video to YouTube. That’s much more simple!
