Global Warming: When did Obama annouce that he will be attending Copenhagen?

Recently major news broke out about Climategate which came out on November 14th and the e-mails were made public on the 21st. Major news stations are reporting that this is used as a tool to force Obama to reconsider going to the conference. Its said that Borack first announced he will be attending Copenhagen on November 25th but an unsure why the large media outlets are calling it a smear campaign if the emails were released before Obama ever announced if he would be attending….

You are correct. Obama’s announcement occurred on November 25, several days after the East Anglia emails were made public. Obama simply decided to ignore the entire Climategate scandal, and hope it would go away. The American media has largely done the same. If you got your news from NBC, CBS, ABC or CNN, you wouldn’t even know about the scandal– they didn’t report it.
