What did you think of his very condescending comment about the “online audience” on the legalization and taxation of marijuana? I am one of the online audience whom he sends emails to constantly from his campaign and I do not smoke weed (did but don’t like it) but want it legalized and taxed. I see him now as a poser and out of touch.

lol….and conservatives keep claiming that he is ‘trying to get pot legalized’.

In due time, this too won’t be an issue, but it is currently for the majority of Americans. And a Christian father of two young daughters isn’t likely to be the one to push for pot legalization.

It’d take an extremely courageous man to answer that in the affirmative.
I was actually quite impressed that he answered it the way he did.
There are many ways he could have completely closed the door on the subject on so many levels; he didn’t.
I hope no one really expected him to say ‘yes’ although I DO agree that it’d be an EXCELLENT idea.
I smoked it for 40 plus years; I’d much rather have paid taxes than support the criminal element but I had no choice if I wanted to smoke it and not grow it … all the time.

Though he is probably well informed that marijuana sales would certainly bring up the sale of that junk food!

Actually it’s kind of funny in that this was how he got elected was us On-Line people.
Congress makes the laws not the President.
Google “Shafer Commission report”. Read it, print it, make copies and mail them to your congress people.
Marijuana is a schedual 1 (No Medical Use) Drug.

Liberals have the freedom to act conservatively, and Conservatives have the freedom to act liberally, but they are each limited if they act in the direction of their image. Or, to put it another way, ‘Only Nixon could go to China’.
