I work at a summer camp where we receive registrations online and through the mail. Every registration needs to be processed by hand. We handle them by the order that they arrive. What’s the fairest way to handle mailed registrations (which do not have a time stamp) and online (which do)? If it were strictly online, there would be no issue, because we’d know exactly when each one was submitted and could handle them in that order. But with a combination of mail and online, it’s tricky.
Suggestions?

I was just talking with someone, and I have an idea. What if I asked everyone reading this question to email all of their friends to have them all send me via the postal service, a “single penney, 1 cent. I wonder how many would actually do so to help me set a worlds record doing so. And if I did do this, how many penny’s would it take, where would I store them, how much room would they take up, and then, If I did set a enw worlds record, how would I get a bank to accept them? Of course, I would donate all of it to a charity afterwards.Hmmm, this is interesting to think about. I myself would in fact someone trying something like this, what the heck, it would only be a 37 cent stamp and a penny in an envelope, what hard would that do. I wonder if anyone has used this venue to attemp a Guinness World Record before> Should I be the first to try it? Would the readers of Yahoo Questions and Answers support such an email campaign and would the emails get passed on or just die out?

Okay, so I’m waging war against the Nashville publication, Parent World. They are a publication of Day Communications. I have been trying to get ANYONE to contact me via email or phone for nearly 2 months now regarding information needed to advertise with them. They have info listed in their publication on how much to send if you want to run an ad in classifieds, but I’m interested in a Direct Ad campaign and not classifieds. I am also interested in web
advertising with them but they provide little information on their website and state to contact “Stewart Day” for more details. I’ve been calling for weeks. Every number leads to voicemail. I’ve not been nasty, but I’m about to be. By God, I wanted to advertise and since some guy doesn’t want to followup and do his job I’m out the opportunity. I’d like to find out how to reach upper management to let them know what’s been going on. Surely this is not acceptable!
FYI- It’s impossible to reach a live person and I’ve even tried emailing to the generic email address vs. direct to the Advertising dept.
