Can you arrange starting from most likely to be targeted to least likely?
a. Elderly
b. *** Women
c. *** Men
d. Straight Women
e. Mixed Genders
f. Straight Men
g. Children

FYI - Profile of the Sociopath:

-Glibness and Superficial Charm
-Manipulative and Conning
-They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving behaviors as permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They may dominate and humiliate their victims.
-Grandiose Sense of Self
-Feels entitled to certain things as “their right.”
-Pathological Lying
-Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities. Extremely convincing and even able to pass lie detector tests.
-Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt
-A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core. Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who end up as victims. The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way.
-Shallow Emotions
-When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would upset a normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises.
-Incapacity for Love
-Need for Stimulation
-Living on the edge. Verbal outbursts and physical punishments are normal. Promiscuity and gambling are common.
-Callousness/Lack of Empathy
-Unable to empathize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt for others’ feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them.
-Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature
-Rage and abuse, alternating with small expressions of love and approval produce an addictive cycle for abuser and abused, as well as creating hopelessness in the victim. Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing, entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for their impact on others.
-Early Behavior Problems/Juvenile Delinquency
-Usually has a history of behavioral and academic difficulties, yet “gets by” by conning others. Problems in making and keeping friends; aberrant behaviors such as cruelty to people or animals, stealing, etc.
-Irresponsibility/Unreliability
-Not concerned about wrecking others’ lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.
-Promiscuous Sexual Behavior/Infidelity
-Promiscuity, child sexual abuse, **** and sexual acting out of all sorts.
-Lack of Realistic Life Plan/Parasitic Lifestyle
-Tends to move around a lot or makes all encompassing promises for the future, poor work ethic but exploits others effectively.
-Criminal or Entrepreneurial Versatility
-Changes their image as needed to avoid prosecution. Changes life story readily.

What does “enforced sampling”, a technique in behavioral therapy, refer to?

Is it: a) unmotivated clients who think a reinforcer has no potency for them…b) Assisting unmotivated clients to develop target goals…c) training clients to assert themselves.
It is a question on a take home test, I have read all the lecture notes and it just isn’t there.

How should Obama use the millions of people who signed up to help his campaign? ?

13 million - number of people on Obama’s campaign email list, twice as much as Moveon.org the largest online political organization.

3 million - number of people who donated to his campaign.

2 million - number of profiles created by supporters on MyBarackObama.com

1.2 million - number of volunteers who were recruited by Obama’s campaign.

4,500 - number of “house parties” - designed to organize and discuss political issues - held by Obama supporters in December.

5,000 - number of groups who responded to a call from Obama’s transition team for reports on the best way to tackle health care issues.

100,000 - number of people who voted on Change.gov for questions they would most like to see Obama answer.

What can Obama do to harness the power of this community for the good of the country?

Can campaigns read instant messages and emails if you discuss the candidate?

I know that there is a program or whatever that allows campaigns to know of people using a search engine to find info about their candidate, but does this extend to IMs and emails? I don’t know what this program (or whatever) is called either, anyone know that too?

Does a BIP only effect the disciplline of the targeted behaviors listed on the BIP?

On the BIP there are targeted behaviors right? Then there are consequences for those targeted behaviors. Correct? So is the child still disciplined for all other behavioral problems that are not listed on the BIP according to the Student Code of Conduct for all students? I do not want my child to receive ISS or lunch detention because I think it is a negative discipline technique. The discipline should be positive and serve the purpose of trying to deter it from happening again right? What happens if I do not agree to the BIP? Some have said they can not do something I don’t agree to but others have said that they can. Thanks so much for all of your support and help in these issues. I do really appreciate it.

god is a sociopath.for all you christians?

Glibness/Superficial Charm
Language can be used without effort by them to confuse and convince their audience. Captivating storytellers that exude self-confidence, they can spin a web that intrigues others. Since they are persuasive, they have the capacity to destroy their critics verbally or emotionally.

Manipulative and Conning
They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving behaviors permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They dominate and humiliate their victims.

Grandiose Sense of Self
Feels entitled to certain things as “their right.” Craves adulation and attendance. Must be the center of attention with their own fantasies as the “spokesman for God,” “enlightened,” “leader of humankind,” etc. Creates an us-versus-them mentality

Pathological Lying
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities. Extremely convincing and able to pass lie detector tests.

Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core. Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who end up as victims. The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way.

Shallow Emotions
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion, it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would upset a normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises.

Incapacity for Love
While they talk about “God’s love” they are unable to give or receive it. Since they do not believe in the genuineness of their followers’ love, they are very harsh in testing it from their devotees and expect them to feel guilt for their failings. Expects unconditional surrender.

Need for Stimulation
Living on the edge, yet testing the beliefs of their followers with bizarre rules, punishments and behaviors. Verbal outbursts and physical punishments are normal.

Callousness/Lack of Empathy
Unable to empathize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt for others’ feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them. Their skills are used to exploit, abuse and exert power. Since the follower cannot believe their leader would callously hurt them, they rationalize the behavior as necessary for their (or the group’s) own “good” and deny the abuse. When devotees become aware of the exploitation it feels like a “spiritual rape” to them.

Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature
Rage and abuse, alternating with small expressions of love and approval produce an addictive cycle for abuser and abused, as well as creating hopelessness in the victim. Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing, entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for their impact on others. The followers only see them as near perfect.

Early Behavior Problems/Juvenile Delinquency
Usually has a history of behavioral and academic difficulties, yet “gets by” by conning others. Problems in making and keeping friends; aberrant behaviors such as cruelty to people or animals, stealing, etc.

Irresponsibility/Unreliability
Not concerned about wrecking others’ lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blame their followers or others outside their group. Blame reinforces passivity and obedience and produces guilt, shame, terror and conformity in the followers.

Promiscuous Sexual Behavior/Infidelity
Totalist leaders frequently practice promiscuity, child sexual abuse, **** and sexual acting out of all sorts. This is usually kept hidden from all but the inner circle. Stringent sexual control of their followers, such as forced breakups and divorces, removal of children from parents, rules for dating, etc.

Lack of Realistic Life Plan/Parasitic Lifestyle
Tends to move around a lot or makes all encompassing promises for the future. Many groups claim as their goal world-domination or other utopian promises. Great contrast between the leader’s opulent lifestyle and the followers’ impoverishment. Support by gifts and donations from the followers who are pressured to give through fear and guilt. Highly sensitive to their own pain and health.

Criminal or Entrepreneurial Versatility
Changes their image and that of the group as needed to avoid prosecution and to increase income and to recruit a range of members. Is able to adapt or relocate as needed to preserve the group. Can resurface later with a new name, a new front group and a new twist on the scam.

Can someone please edit my essay?

As a single mother, I have been confronted with, and have successfully overcome issues such as poverty, financial hardships, homelessness, and single parenting. Consequently, I have become committed to helping others achieve personal growth, as well as a state of general well-being. I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, who were facing issues such as homelessness, living with a disability, aging, mental illness, and raising a child as a single parent. As a result of my own personal experiences, I am able to relate to the constant despair and frustration experienced by those who find it challenging to cope with everyday life. I am convinced that increasing one’s own sense of empowerment can make the difference between a future of despondency and one filled with hope.
I am applying to the Master’s in Social Work Program because it is a step toward pursuing my life’s mission: helping others in embracing their inner potential to make a positive life transition. Preparation to achieve my personal goal began while I worked at Harbor View Adolescent Center as a Youth Counselor. My primary work responsibility was to serve as a positive role model for adolescents between the ages of twelve to eighteen. The adolescents encountered issues such as physical and sexual abuse, abandonment, drug and alcohol abuse, bulimia, depression, and severe behavioral problems. At times, the position was extremely stressful, however, I discovered that I had the ability to connect with the adolescents and develop strong emotional ties. While working with them, I focused on several areas of treatment, including, social skills, vocational skills, and independent living skills. My main ambition was to help them build their self-esteem and improve their sense of security. As a youth counselor, I have gained valuable experience in listening to people, and helping them make positive decisions in order to improve the quality of their lives. My career goal specifically targets working with vulnerable and oppressed individuals, because I want to ensure that these groups of individuals have access to effective services, quality resources, and much needed guidance.
There are several aspects of my personal strengths that I can bring to the field of Social Work. I am highly caring in regards to individual needs and feelings. I have the ability to communicate effectively with people and listen to their needs as well. I also speak Spanish fluently and I can help meet the needs of Spanish speaking clients. As far as my administration abilities, I am very efficient with using a computer, reports, quarterlies, and paperwork documentation. I received an outstanding award for being a “Change Leader in 2008″ for improving the quality of lives of the adolescents that I serve. I am diligently making sure that each of their medical needs are met.
Social workers work to create a change towards equality, justice, human rights, and the well-being of all individuals. This includes, but is not limited to, the most helpless in society, the disadvantaged, poor, vulnerable and oppressed individuals. Social workers empower individuals with the tools necessary to achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest. This is why I am going to devote my life to helping create a more equitable society. All individuals have a fundamental right to live decent, dignified, and productive lives, but society is structured in a way that not all individuals have equal access to food, housing, education and employment opportunities. As social workers, it is our responsibility to ensure that individual needs are met so people can be more self-sufficient and able to make the best possible choices for themselves.

A major ad agency wants to use my home video. I don’t know how to monetize and negotiate its value. Help.

Hello, I have a home video posted on Google Video and I was emailed by a major ad agency in San Francisco asking for permission to use the video. During email exchanges with this representative of the ad company, with a job title of “art buyer”, she seemed to be very hesitant and broad on providing details for the video’s use and the possibility of compensation was not suggested (only until I told her in later emails that I wouldn’t do it for any other reason). Some answers to my inquiry on the subject of my video’s use involved phrases such “viral advertising campaign”, “clip will be used for Yahoo! Videos” and “They will run the add for three months on banners online and a video screen sandwich board”.
In conclusion I have no experience in this industry and have no idea how to monetize the value of my video and to properly negotiate with this ad agency.

I am looking for advise on the best course of action for my situation. Should I contact an agency? what kind and where
